Why it’s laid out this way

Backboard first. Plywood on block walls gives everything a solid mounting surface, with room left to grow.

Patch panel, not loose cables. Every run lands on a numbered port. Moving a desk or adding a printer becomes a patch-cable change, not a new cable pull.

One place for power. A PDU in the rack keeps the gear off a tangle of power strips.
